There’s nothing I love to drink more than a hot cup of green tea, with a Splenda stirred in. It’s hot and refreshing and makes me feel like I have some energy left in me after all. The good news for me, and other green tea lovers is that it’s also good for me.
Green tea is good for you in several different ways. First of all, it hydrates you. Nothing can make you feel icky more than being dehydrated. Secondly, it helps fill you up, without any calories. I know, water can do that too, but it doesn’t taste as good.
Green tea has antioxidents, that’s the thing that helps prevent cancer. It can also help with rheumatoid arthritis, high cholesterol level, cariovascular disease, infection and impaired immune function. It’s also been touted as a weight loss aid.
So drink up, and enjoy!

Currently I’m managing the cafe section of the local grocery store. I make delicious food for people all day long. When it comes time for me to have lunch I’m about ready to gorge. We have pizza, doughnuts, hoagies, fried chicken, soup, salad and a lot more. It’s all so good.
Choosing should be easy, after all there is a salad bar. The problem with salad is that it’s really expensive. Why do they make salad so expensive, it’s $6.99 a pound. The fried chicken is really cheap. There are some sandwiches, some of them expensive, some not.
I’m thinking I could get a small salad and a small sandwich. What do you think I should have for lunch?

I was really sick this weekend. You don’t even want to know.
Yesterday I was home from work. Eating at home has always been a challenge because the food just calls to me all day. Luckily for me today, we don’t have much food in the house. Been too busy to shop. But there’s still food and my son made cookies yesterday, yum. What am I to do?
I decided to have soup to start out my lunch and then some cereal to give me the something sweet I crave after eating something healthy. The soup filled me up quite a bit. I couldn’t resist the cookie, but I only had one. Gotta go shopping and get something healthier to pack for lunches this week.

I was going to a wedding and thinking about what I was going to do when all the food was unveiled. This is what I decided to do. I took one of every appetizer, just one. My husband thought I was crazy. This was my way of trying everything without over indulging. I didn’t feel as though I’d missed anything. I had a little more of the fruit though, because I was hungry and it was still going to be an hour until dinner was served.
When dinner came I took a little bit of everything, even if that meant cutting the chicken breast in half. I took more of the veggies though, and I ate them first. This way I would fill up on the veggies first, and then try to eat a little of everything else.
If something wasn’t as tasty as I thought it should be I pushed it to the side of the plate and forgot about it. After all, if it’s not worth breaking my diet over, then why force feed it to myself.

My yoga ball is my best friend when it comes to doing sit ups. It’s so much easier on your neck when you use the yoga ball. I think you use more stomach muscles when you use the yoga ball for sit ups too. You also use your back muscles because you bend backwards over the yoga ball and have to come back up. Your side muscles get used because you need to balance on the ball.
All you have to do to use the yoga ball for sit ups is sit on it and roll the ball forward under you so that your back is touching the ball. Move your legs apart a little so you can balance better. Then bend backwards over the ball. Then sit up. The further back you go the more muscles your going to work.

I’ve been getting a lot of exercise from my new job, constantly moving all day long, but it’s not helping me lose weight and it’s doing nothing for my body. I need to tone. Starting tomorrow after work I’m going to pick up the weights every day and do something with them.
I’ll start with upper body tomorrow and do lower body the next day. You never want to work the same muscle group two days in a row, it’s just not good for your muscles.
I really need to work that area under my arms, you know, the wing area. Being almost 40 it’s starting to droop a little. Then I need to work on my but, so I look good in my jeans. Working the stomach and back muscles are a must. They’re the core of your body and all else works around them.

I had a couple days off from work, so I cheated on my diet a lot. The reason I did this was to get it all out of my system. I’ve been pretty good with my diet, but not good enough the past few weeks.
I started a new job, and although my job keeps my pretty active all day, I haven’t lost a pound since starting it. I’m not really sure why except that I’m eating more when I get home from work because I’m hungrier from working all day.
Tomorrow I’m back on the diet, even dinner. I packed my lunches for the week based on my diet plan, and I’m going to stick to it. Now that it’s out of my system, I’m ready to start all over again.
